All Sid needs are his lucky Crocs, and he'll be fine

He and Sid will be sharing nachos in the press box.

Well, Sid can drink the cheese at least.

Idk, I heard Sid is a double dipper in the nacho cheese on the big nachos and that disgusts Orpik[/quote

As long as he's not sitting next to Sid...I don't want him reaching for the dip and mis-firing another shot....

Hopefully Sid won't ask Orpik to pass him anything.

Josh Yohe @ trib reports "Crosby said he would be most comfortable on a line with wingers Chris Kunitz and Pascal Dupuis when he return."
I agree with Sid. Iginla should be on the 3rd line. He obviously can't play with geno. Putting JJ on the 4th is just stupid. If JJ does not take 3rd line center away from sutter then throw him on genos left.

Am I the only one sitting around and not getting any work waiting for the announcement on whether or not he'll play tomorrow?

PITTSBURGH – Sidney Crosby said Tuesday he feels ready to return to the lineup as soon as the doctors clear him.

"As long as he is confident I can take a hit, then I will be confident as well," the Pittsburgh Penguins captain after practicing with the team.Crosby is scheduled to see the doctor on Tuesday afternoon, the day before the Penguins open the NHL playoffs with a Eastern Conference Quarterfinal matchup against the New York Islanders (NBC Sports Network, 7;30 p.m. ET)

Fingers crossed Captain!

No surprise... we're not talking about a concussion here where you might not see symptoms for days after taking contact. If things are healed up well enough to take a hit, then he's good to go; contact in practice is not a requirement.

I wouldn't say a word at all. If Sid goes out for warm-ups, he'll play. If not, well, he won't.

Does it matter? I don't think preparedness will stop Sid from taking out weeks of frustration on the Isles...

It seems like Pens usually only release returns from who practices with who and then question with DB after practice

Dregger / McKenzie have their ways though..........

Why? The Islanders are going to practice as if he's in the lineup regardless, so it's not going to change a thing as far as Islanders preparation goes.

Just speculating... If Sid isn't cleared, what would be the reason? Would it be the bone hasn't fused enough? How do they know that kind of thing. X-rays? Doctors of LGP? ;)
