Individual players aside (like Iggy), seems that we played two games without energy for some reason. Maybe the streak left us worn out a little and we need to regroup. But last game I fell asleep for a moment and tonight the team got so boring I had to load something dirty to keep me awake.

5-2 Pens will roll on Friday.

I'm already steaming and ready to go. KILL THEM IN 48 HOURS!!!

Bioshock, tell me about this, please. I had to work late and no webz.

Just got angry that the Pens kept letting Rangers come right into his face an when he froze the puck he just wound up and shot the puck straight up into the stands. It wasn't much but completely uncharacteristic of Fluery. If anyone else had done it, no big deal, but the fact it was flower was just surprising. And eye opening. At least for me personally.

But... after seeing flower pissed, me as a fan, am just seething now. I want this pens team to grind the Rangers into dust come Friday. If i'm in that locker room, i have one singular focus. EXECUTE, with crushing precision...

Please recount the incident. I could watch the game in two days or get a much better idea from a seething comrade. Much more colorful. Can't fight the seether.

Edit: Saw your post above. Thanks!

I think we really miss Crosby and not just for his skill or points, but when he starts running around, it's infectious.

Tell the flyers fan to pound salt.

It's why if we lose again on Friday it will also bring a semi-smile to my face.

Of course missing those three guys is a huge loss. But that does not begin to excuse what we saw out there on the ice tonight. I'm not necessarily pissed, nor am i panicking, but that was extremely annoying to watch. I get the whole idea of having a let down after the streak thing. It was bound to happen. I would not have been upset with a couple of losses. But just the way they played, with really no energy, discipline or desire was a little frustrating to watch. You would hope that they would have got into good enough habits by now, to not start completely s&*ting the bed when the emotion levels aren't as high. This team seems to rely on emotion too much sometimes. I mean at least give a little something to show that you've got a pulse. With that said, I'm confident that they'll be fine.

At least our loss doesn't help the Flyers.

Faceoffs too. Very apparent tonight because Malkin doesn't faceoff.

2 parts of his game that really need worked on are Faceoffs, and defensive awareness aka not locking in on the puck but picking up a man.

Agreed with this as well. Didn't want to complain about it too much while things were going well. And was also hoping maybe adding a top winger to his line would help. It hasn't.. at all. In fact he looks worse than he did before the injuries. I mean, not horrible, but just generally lazy and careless with the puck. And I am so entirely sick of seeing bring the puck into the offensive zone all by himself against three defenders, end up losing the puck, which leads to a rush in the other direction. It's like he thinks he is in the middle of a skills competition. He might of had a good excuse for doing that when his linemates were talbot and fedetenko, but he has a couple of all stars on either side right now and he needs to learn to PLAY WITH THEM and not try to do everything himself. With that said, James Neal definitely has not been playing like an all star lately, regardless of what Malkin's doing. Can someone get Geno's parents here over from Russia for a few games?
