I think the pass was more impressive than the tooth.
he really wanted that win. I'm not used to playoff hockey in October.

Happy to see the Society is back in action.
Dupuis loves Pittsburgh, that's a solid plus in my book

<3 Duper

“This is home. This is where I wanted to be. This is where my heart is. This is where the fans treat me so well, where the franchise has treated me so well, where I can play with so many great players … this is where I belonged.”
As Dupuis rose to exit, he was still smiling, but he had one concern.
“My wife saw me take the tooth out, and she's mad at me. She said I shouldn't have done that myself.

to show the proper evolution no hands + Crosby = hands.

Or maybe put a wizard cap on Sid granting Duper hands.

Honestly, that rudimentary picture chart showing developmental curve isn't all that inaccurate. Dupuis worked hard in one specific area in his time here and he really went a long way to making him more than just an energy winger on the third or fourth line and it's a very underrated thing that's tough to pick up: pass acceptance. Dupuis biggest problem in Pittsburgh and his last stops previous, were that he couldn't accept passes. They would bounce right off of his stick. He's really improved on that front and with his energy and hockey sense and quality shot, he was able to put it all together and become one of the better two-way complimentary scoring line wingers in the game.

From 2011-12 to 2012-13, Dupuis is 9th in the NHL in ES goals. But it's even closer than that...except for #1, that is... (sorted by goals, +/- in ()s)

1. Stamkos 67 (+3)
2. Malkin 43 (+23)
3. Tavares 43 (-8)
4. Gaborik 42 (+12)
5. Toews 42 (+45)
6. Kessel 41 (-13)
7. Ovechkin 41 (-6)
8. Pacioretty 40 (+10)
9. Dupuis 39 (+49)
10. E.Kane 39 (+8)
11. Ladd 39 (+2)
12. R.Nash 39 (-3)

Maybe his wife wouldn't be so mad if she realized that he is preparing for life after hockey...as a dentist.

Since 2010-11, the Penguins win 86.6% of the games in which Pascal Dupuis scores a goal.

Based upon the latest news, its time to re-up the 2015 PDAS!!!

@PensInsideScoop Johnston said Dupuis is cleared for full contact. "We’re hoping he’s going to be cleared to play for 1 of our last 2 games, maybe two" -MC - an hour ago

To top it off, Duper is a mad cyclist and apparently that's poo-poo'ed on as an off season training plan (from Elliot Friedman's 30 Thoughts #1)

I really can't wait to hear all the people who wanted Dupuis on the 3rd line act start saying "There's no reason to break up the 1st line."

He's obviously a big part of the lockerroom as well. DK had reported this little gem on his site. (I'll paraphrase, as you should really subscribe to get this info :) )

"Flower, what the hell was that. You are killing us out there, man! Just killing us!" shouting it across the room in regards to Fleury's puck handling attempt turned goal.

Hornqvist started coming to Fleury's defense, until he realized Duper was just kidding around, and both Duper and Fleury were laughing at him for looking so serious.

The root of Fleury's puckhandling problems:

When someone asked Fleury how it must feel for Dupuis to have such a big night, he responded, "I wouldn't know, I don't score goals."
