You're right, he looked great the first game against the Rangers. :)

He actually didn't look bad, and I've seen several Rangers fans even say as much. But yeah, I guess going 9-1-0 with a 2.13 GAA and .926 sv% in his last 12 games is "up and down".

You should learn to read.

I stated since Sid went out. He had a sub .850 save % against the Rangers and didn't look sharp at all. Then he bounced back and looked great. Tonight he hasn't been tested a lot, so I'll reserve judgement, although he's on pace to allow 6 goals.

Ok, since Sid went out he's 1-1-0 with a 2.60 GAA and .922 save %.

I freely admit I'm overreacting. Nothing a vodka tonic can't fix.

:thumb: Well done. As with almost anything the first step is acknowledgement and followed by the second step: drinking it off. Make mine a G&T, please.

Do you Tanqueray?

If desparate, yes. Beefeater is the devil. Bombay Sapphire = :thumb:

Exactly, I said he's been up and down. Looked horrible the first game and bounced back and looked great the next game.

Not sure what you didn't understand the first time I stated it.

Another icing call. Shocking.

So that's 3 or 4 now? None for the Canes?

We are horrible, I don't understand why EVERYONE looks lethargic out there. We have no zip in our game, no urgency, no drive.

Even the presence of Kunitz can't awake Malozov from his slumber.

They should have had a couple, but their Dmen aren't strong enough to shoot it far enough

And like I said, it's not even that he was horrible in the first Rangers game - he just didn't/couldn't play the role of savior like he did on Friday. It's not like he laid a bunch of eggs - the Rangers scored 6 legitimate goals, and probably could've had 4 or 5 more.

I, for one, am not the least bit worried about the Pens' goaltending right now. More disturbing has been their overall play since Crosby got hurt. I'd say Letang and/or Martin as well, but they still didn't look bad without them - everything came apart once Crosby went down. It's going to take more than just him if they're going anywhere in the playoffs.

Ugh, Iginla is starting to fit right in to the poor decision making.

Although he had no puck support at all there. We can't figure anything out.

So is it because all these teams have so much more to play for, our injuries, or a combo of both?
