Sid is on the ice working with S&C coach. Also, Martin and Neal are on the ice this morning before practice.

Closer...closer....

A broken jaw has to be a frustrating injury as 95% of your body is ready and willing to go. Unlike a broken hand, legs or even head injuries where once you step on the ice, you feel it right away.

Something tells me Sid wants the scoring title, but i think he will still miss 2 more games befor he is ready to play again.

I think Sid just wants to play. The guy has sat idle for nearly 2 years.

chippier, fresher, hammier?

MRandall, I saw a Dacia Sandero at an auto show once. I had never heard of one before.

This is great news, indeed! I didn't expect them all to start skating at once.

Figured Neal would be back after the road trip. 12 days to recover from what. Appears to be a very mild concussion was enough.

Martin skating now should men he will be in shape for the playoffs. Still think Sid comes back after the Bruins game.

If he's fully cleared, I'd guess 7-10 days of skating and working out - so looking at the last 2-3 games of the season.

That seems like alot of time for a guy in great shape already, to get back in game shape. I am guessing the Buffalo game on Sunday he will return like DelPen said.

Neal i can see giving him 10 more days of recovery and workouts to make sure symptoms are totally gone. But Sid i think only 5 more days, just a gut feeling.

With Martin skating and when the x rays show he is healed he can be back on the ice. But anyones guess is as good as mine. I honestly think Game one of the opening round he will be back.

One or two games may be all Crosby needs to win the points race. I'd rather he just skate to get used to it again and not give a crap about the scoring title.

Has there been anything about Malkin's infamous sunburn? Should we expect him to play on wednesday?

Not skating with his usual line today. We'll probably get a "day-to-day" quote after practice, but I bet he sits at least Wednesday.

The Pens vehemently denied the sunburn thing. DB said he re-aggravated something against TB, which means it's the shoulder, as many suspected.

Yeah, pretty sure the sunburn thing was tweeted as a joke. Malkin took a hard shoulder-to-shoulder check against TBay and looked noticeably shaken by it... put 2 + 2 together and you've got a reaggravated shoulder injury.

It’s the Ferrari, and I won’t settle for anything less. And judging from the photos, it looks like it’s sporting a new grille. :thumb:
