I think this game is not going to be played. You can't put 19k people in a stadium with a psycho running around.

Flights are still leaving the airport. They will be able to leave.

Getting to the airport is the problem. Will they be able to leave Boston?

They are staying at an airport hotel. The players and coaches can easily get out. The equipment staff stranded at the Gardens...not so easy.

As of 1:45p The Red Sox and Bruins games have NOT been officially cancelled or PPD. In looking at the NHL this game would not have the ability to be rescheduled which ultimately would be a loss to the Bruins and not to the Pens and for the most part give the Pens the Conference Chanpionship.

In retrospect of all things that have happened and are currently happening in the Boston area this should be the decision that is made. The city needs to heal and can only do that once this person is captured.

Not only that, but Milan Lucic is on the brute squad, so if the standoff continues, he won't be able to play in any hockey game, although reports is he's now a 4th line brute squader as well, so who knows.

Why should the arena workers venture out while all others are urged to go home.

Pens trainers have returned to the hotel per Trib. They are not stranded at the garden. People stranded at work are now allowed to drive home or take a cab home. Movement is possible.

Only a Twitter rumor at this point, but logistically it could work out.

Postpone the game tonight. Play it tomorrow night since Pittsburgh and the Bruins are already in Boston. Move the Pens/Sabres game to a later date (dates that would work: Tuesday April 23rd, Wednesday April 24th, Sunday April 28th)

If the game is cancelled and not made up...do we win the conference by terrorism?

Cancel the game. What's going on is so much bigger than a hockey game right now.

Until the Pens/Bruins/NHL announce it....take it like you've heard it on CNN.

Red Sox game is cancelled, but they have 6 months to make that game up.

Bruins are fighting for a 2 seed with Montreal and can't make this game up unless the entire playoff schedule is moved. It's not an easy call. I'd have no problem playing the game in front of no crowd. Get a crew of medics and cops at the arena with a skeleton staff and bang it out.

I assume you mean today.

So what if he isn't caught soon? What if it goes on for days/weeks?
Do they cancel all public events in Boston, indefinitely? A crisis mode can only last for so long.
