It's not safe, would be a good reason to not play the game at all

well, the arena has been locked down on high alert since the bombing occurred. they have private security working there. i'd argue that with no fans it may be the safest game played all year.

hey whatever, cancel the game but the notion that its not safe to play without fans I completely disagree with.

BPD weren't waiting for the NHL, they did the smart thing and just shut it down.

So what happens if this situation is still going on tomorrow? Do they keep moving games around?

why? let's not just involve pens / boston, but now buffalo, people with tickets for tomorrow.
They should have just played the game after 4/27. money, money, money.

So, if the game is still unable to played tomorrow at 8:30 am, do the Pens return to Pittsburgh and carry on with the Buffalo game?

Guess Madden has been reading this board again. Said he's not taking calls at the moment because all of them are stupid, including one caller that suggest the game should be played in an empty arena like what Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk did.

Hmmm....

Anyways i'm glad the game is postponed until tommorrow, given the circumstances in Boston it's for the best.

Just cancel the game and give every team in the East 2 points.

Yeah, just add 3 or 4 more goals against for Sievegalov.

Also, let's scrap the rest of the regular season and give Sid the scoring title.

this rush to reschedule a hockey game while the city remains locked down shows a lack of reality within the NHL. I don't think the pens are trilled to be staying another night in Boston.

Bruins play six games in nine days. That alone should give Jagr a groin injury.
