Letang's achilles heel is that he gets rattled far too easily. Boston was specifically targeting him yesterday and he was totally composed. The weirdest part was when Ferrence got him pretty good and the rest of the guys on the ice started scrumming. Meanwhile, Letang and Ferrence were just to the side chilling.

I don't see how BB doesn't stay vs. TK in the playoffs once the team is healthy. Ignoring the offensive side of the ice completely, BB has been impressive defensively while TK has had at least two TERRIBLE straight up giveaways in his own zone that led to prime scoring chances. BB has had none. I don't see how they can ignore that for the playoffs. Add in the ability to win battles on the boards and create space in the offensive zone...

The kid made a couple of really nice plays at the blueline yesterday to keep it in, stickhandle under pressure, buy himself some space and make a confident, accurate pass. I can think of a few guys who struggle with precisely that....

Possibly, he's smooth as butter. Bennett does a good job of keeping his head up and has a good read on the ice. This will be very important come playoff time, tons of hits coming and don't want him to get "Skinner'ed"!

He's also very effective because he's always moving... really good on his skates. Someone maybe Gaucho said yesterday in the gdt it was probably due to his youth experience playing roller hockey which makes a ton of sense! Unlike Kennedy who flies around the ice like a 16 year old in a ferrari

Dare I call tomorrow's game important? If we win and NYR hangs on today, Ottawa falls to 8th. Ottawa would still play wash, philly, boston, while NYR would play car, buff, njd. I for one would certainly rather play Ottawa than the Rags.
