Continue The In-Game Woo.

The Pens players themselves are a fan of it.
The coaching staff does like it.
And Lemieux does like it.
So just do it.
As C-Blog mentioned, you're turning into a true Pens fan.

Due to the fact that this is happening on a nightly basis in CONSOL, the woo'ers are season-ticket holders.

To the geniuses who think we've asked people to woo during games, you're awesome, and we're way responsible for the wooing that takes place at games. We post pictures of Ric Flair, and that entices people to woo during hockey games? Sure works. Regardless, Pens fans read this blog, and hopefully some of the woo'ers do, too, so we might as well do our part to attempt to expand it.

It was amusing the first couple blowout games where it was taking place.
Now it's just getting incredible.

So we're asking everyone to continue the Woo.
If you're seated near someone who woos, stand up and congratulate them in front of the section.
You'll get a standing ovation probably.

This plea has nothing to do with what we perceive as our reputation.
We were for this before people started congratulating us for it.

Continue The Woo.
Go Pens.

Most of the wooers are kids, from what I understand. They don't realize that they sound like macaws. Aside from the cacophony, it's just lame and ancient. TBH, that bothers me more than the ridiculous sound. Assuming they're creative, why can't they send the woo back to 2007 and come up with something else?

From what I heard, PNC Park is kicking people out for wooing.

I can assure neither of us were woo'ing.

We were complaining about the yinzer that tried to start a "Let's Go Bucs!" chant though.

The biggest reason I hate it is people seem to think they're Ric Flair'ing and thats so far from a real Ric Flair "wooo" it isnt even funny. And speaking of not being funny, the wooooos arent funny.

How can you kick out someone for wooing?

Being annoying. Just like they kick people out for swearing/causing a disturbance. I have no clue if it is true, but supposedly....if someone complains, the ushers will warn you. If someone complains again, they'll ask you to leave.

Next thing you know we wont be able to hear the Guy in Section 216 at the start of every period yell "HIT SOMEBODY" ...Or see the guy that dances to "Cotton Eyed Joe" and his pelvic thrust...honestly where does the complaining end?

Those are quite different.
The wooing is incessant. It genereally annoys everyone. It last all game long. The "Hit Somebody" guy I didn't even know existed, so he can't be that annoying. The cotton eyed joe guy, at worst, is an eye sore. If he's throwing in a pelvic thrust now (haven't been to a game all year and haven't noticed it before) then they could ask him to stop. But the woo is loud, annoying. I have it on good authority that Jesus dislikes it too, so you have that to consider as well.

tPB, while didn't start the woo by saying "Go to games and 'woo'", I think hold more responsibility than they care to admit. If they weren't such dorks with the whole WWF/E thing I doubt the woo would have ever started.

If I had a choice between giving up the woo or giving up the Pensblog I'd choose giving up the woo since I've already given up the Pens Blog on my own.

I'm sure the woo has stuck around because it comes through so well on the broadcasts. People can hear themselves woo. That's exciting.

Kvetching about the woo will only make it worse. The people that are doing are doing only for the attention and to he annoying. Ignore it and it will go way

I don't think I've ever noticed the wooing to the point of being annoyed by it. In fact, I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all if people didn't whine about it all the time
