If that were Engelland the puck would have bounced off his skate and into Carolina's zone, right Bylsma?

When you just stand around in the defensive zone, the bounces aren't going to go in your favour.

MAF has to stop allowing deflections in front of him. Come on Fleury.

Isn't that basically what he is?

No, and that's the problem. He consumes a forward spot as a specialist, but there are even at least 5 forwards I want killing penalties before 27.

I'm torn. He's willing to sacrifice his body and block some huge blasts. I'd rather see him doing that than Sid, Geno, Kunitz, Dupuis, etc.

Cooke blocks more shots than Adams. The others are Sutter, Vitale, Dupuis, Glass, and probably Jokinen for his FO. Adams is a waste in this lineup when you have options like theses

Giving up way too many chances and getting worked in our end. Not the way we want to enter the playoffs and the same thing happened last game.

Unacceptable.

It's that and Neal coming back on his line. It seems like we got two players back when Neal returned, Neal and Geno.

I can't believe some people would have them broken up according to their "this is what the lines should look like".

Thank God. I think there is an intercontinental nuclear war clause if the Red Wings don't make the playoffs.
