I'm not all that worried about the Isles- I think they'll be happy to be in the playoffs, and their D/goaltending can't hold up over 7 games. But Ottawa's been sliding and they are so wound up with Cooke it's almost not funny.

Great period. Malkin's line looked great, as did the third. A couple hairy shifts in our end, but we created some great chances in their end. Keep up that play in the playoffs and we'll be successful.

He's actually looked half decent in his appearances tonight and in his first game. That being said, the Canes aren't playing for anything and probably want a look at him to see if he's worth resigning.
