Might as well use your AARP card at this point.

I could call a local bus company right now, charter a bus for 50 people, and call the Penguins for a block of tickets for my bus.

24 hours before round 2 game 2...........

Edit: ok, now it comes up. But even those numbers show increases in attendance after the price increase, up until this year. So even IF those numbers are correct for 2013, I'd bet the lockout was a bigger impact than price increases made a few years previous.

I'm pretty sure the ESPN numbers are wrong. I think they missed the attendance for a game. If you take the total from ESPN and divide by 23 then the average comes to 18,506.... which I think is the correct number.

It's not so much the viewpoint as it is the comfort level in the upper bowl. You're stacked right against each other and literally feel like you're suspended directly over the ice. Only from what I've heard about the lower bowl is that visibility sucks. Either way, the new arena is a cookie cutter POS with no personality like Mellon, as is most everything "new" these days

Personally, that's why I love the upper bowl. The view is great and I'm 5'7" with seats on the aisle so it works out great. But I do prefer Mellon, nothing will ever beat section D or the balconies on the ends.

I spent many years in Sect D24 at the Civic Arena, untill they build the balconies and I moved to E3. Now i'm in 231. Always liked being upstairs, and always liked the corners. Anytime I've been downstairs I can only see half the ice and have to rely on the jumbotron. This was tough in the old days cause they didn't have one.
