Give it a little time. There just has to be someone to make a Fleury thread.

No, that he knocked it into his own stall.

Game 3 is so huge. I think whoever wins it takes the series. The Pens are unfortunately that fragile right now considering recent playoff performance.

One of the reasons the Pens signed Vokoun is for moments like this. Start him on Sunday.

No doubt tonight was a team loss but the own-goal was a killer.

You don't start Vokoun after dropping one game. You start him if it happens again

It was disappointing after game 1 where to a man we attributed the win to playing the right way and getting the puck deep, that we abandon it so soon..

After 3 in the first it is like, we could score 10?

Cross the blue line and noting is there, get the puck behind the net and grind, nope. Drop pass, low percentage shot, pull back and wait, take your pick of the easiest plays available.

It was the Flyer series again, and we should no better. It was obvious after the first and it is disappointing that we were incapable of recognizing.

Honestly the Islanders did nit play that much better, we just made it that much easier.

Fleury needs to be better as well. We practice on that rink for the love of Pete!

I'm not there, but where I am with maf is finding myself on edge that he'll let in 2+ crappy goals per game given recent history.

Agreed completely. You give him a chance to redeem himself. If he struggles, then there's no choice but to go with Vokoun.

The Pens are committed to Fleury being their #1 goalie, and that means Vokoun only see's action if absolutely necessary.

Did the Isles actually put a shot on net that went in clean?

Starting goalies are a dime a dozen. They'll have no trouble picking one up out of the free agent market.

He hasn't done that over the majority of the season, though. And he certainly didn't do it Wednesday, though. It's like people just expect the absolute worst from Fleury every single game.

To be fair, maf was huge in the first and early in the second. Isles coulda shoulda had a few.

I'm waaay too new here but could I possibly trouble one of you fine folks for a bit of bourbon? Might help get rid of that "puke" taste that just won't leave me.

I'm Getting flamed, but anybody that watched tonight probably thought they were watching the flyers own our goaltender after being up by 2 just like last year

I agree that he hasn't done it for the majority of the rs, but what happened tonight looked a helluva lot like the playoff bombs in each of the last three years.
