Richmond, VA TV Question...

Postby cojac on Sun May 05, 2013 9:17 pm

Are there any places that show the NHL playoffs in and around Richmond, VA? My father-in-law is a professor at VCU and is having trouble finding the Pens games on TV, except for when their on NBC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check out Buffalo Wild Wings on west broad. Huge football bar that is always packed with steelers fans, but he could probably call and ask about it. Good chance they'd have it and would put it on if requested.

BWW is always my go to when I'm out of town. They are a solid hockey bar chain.

I doubt there is a sporting event that's televised in English that won't be playing at a BWW. The ones near me have more TV's than I can count, I'm sure you can always find one that will have a Stanley Cup Playoff game on it.

Isn't every playoff game on NBC Sports Network or CNBC?? I don't think I've missed a game in any series so far.

Yes, and there will be some on the NHL Network also.

Gus' on Broad St. is also an option. I have had success there in the past. Tons of TVs and normally plenty of seating. They get decent crowds for Caps games, so unlike some other Richmond bars, they actually know that hockey exists.

Glad to hear about other Pens fans in Richmond.
