Neal and Orpik

Postby SixTeaSix on Tue May 07, 2013 4:13 pm

NHL.com was speculating that Neal and Orpik would be in the lineup tonight.
Has anyone heard, or seen, anything?

The Fan also said they would probably play because of their skating on their regular lines in practice.

Neal took a regular shift during Pittsburgh's morning skate on Tuesday. While the former 40-goal scorer is likely to play, Orpik looks like something of a lock. He skated on Tuesday with his regular defence partner, Paul Martin, and showed no symptoms of the lower-body injury that has plagued him for the past two weeks.

Please, oh please Bylsma, do this:

Dupuis Crosby Iginla
Kunitz Malkin Neal

If you make either Neal or Iginla play left wing then whoever does is going to be very ineffective.

Mike Lange was on DVE this morning. He said the answer is unclear because HCDB and company have to determine if Neal and Orpik play now would it risk their health for future rounds if the Pens were to advance. So there's no definitive answer.

The Ol' 29er announced on his FB page Neal was playing. I didn't see anything about Orpik.

Dave Molinari ‏@MolinariPG 4h Orpik says watching Game 3 was "the most nervous I've ever been."

I would love to see pictures of Brooksie in the "owners box". I'll bet it wasn't easy sitting next to him either.

I get the image of him using body English while sitting in his chair sipping Fuji water. :)

Speaking of which, I wonder how much of these playoffs GR is watching...
