"We brought Tomas Vokoun in to play big games for us and be a goaltender we can count on to go in and play big games," Bylsma said.

Ouch! lol Well, when Fleury has stunk it up the last 3 playoff seasons, I guess it's time

There was no way around benching Fleury after the last couple of goals he allowed. He was clearly shaken and looked extremely awkward for whatever reason.

With that said, the Pens' defense has been *brutal*. No team will win a cup turning over the puck as much as they. My humble opinion is that Fleury's issues are related to the frequent turnovers and inability of the Pens to constrain offensive puck movement by the Islanders. With few exceptions, good goaltendidng is a team effort.

If DB doesn't back up benching Fleury with significant adjustments and/or benching skaters that don't make adjustments asked of them, he'll be next.

One has to believe the team will collectively dig their head out of their collective posteriors and play strong.

How many turning points are we going to invent before we accept there is no such thing?

Let's hope the players don't see a new goalie as yet another excuse not to give 100% on every single shift.

Usually it's the opposite.

Well, Vokoun looked fine, and made some really nice saves. Very calm in the net and good puck handling. I'm guessing he'll be the starter on Saturday?
