Lines for Game 5 ( Mad Already)

Postby dhayer18 on Thu May 09, 2013 10:45 am

So now Neal is moved to LW and Iggy is on RW why not just split those two up so they can both play the natural position ? so stupid

According to Steigy he prefers the right side now because of some eye problems.

So in reality, both players are now playing their natural position(if there is such a thing)

Has Jokinen been bad or something?

I don't get it...

Just please let Despres play some consistent shifts. Man

you know what I'm mad too.

I'm fine with Jokinen sitting if Vitale is in. Juicy is in for faceoffs and Vitale is faster and can win faceoffs.

Also, I think that Neal and Iginla is switched for puck possession in the defensive zone. Easier to battle along the boards. They will rotate sides in the offensive zone.

So glad Bylsma is putting TK and Despres in... need the speed.

After the faceoff debacle that was the last game, sitting Jokinen would be a terrible decision.

Pretty sure it was an interview with Neal. So you would actually be trusting Neal. About his own eye.

Still questionable I guess.

Wholeheartedly approve TK and Vitale being in. I don't think TK necessarily needs to be in against slower teams, but the Isles are murdering us with speed.

Sitting him for someone who is over 50% in faceoffs(Vitale) is not an issue.

Swapping Iginla and Neal is probably more for defense and neutral zone play than for an offensive zone boost. Playing on their natural wing will make it easier to chip the puck up and make the transition easier.

And they didn't need an offensive zone boost. They have been getting points.

Neal's only real skill with us has been that wicked shot from the RW.

Despres/Letang can go either way. Speed to counter attack and be extremely useful. Or end up with d zone mistakes. But Eaton was useless.

I like the new 4th line better. Past 4 games our 3rs and 4th lines were basically the slowest in hockey. We needed to do that change or don't bother even playing them. Not saying this new 4th is gonna change the series but they should be better than what we had.

Or you keep him in and at Vitale and actually improve the team's faceoff.

I'd take Glass out before Jokinen, but I guess they want to keep Glass for PK.
