Sitting him for someone who is over 50% in faceoffs(Vitale) is not an issue.

Or you keep him in and at Vitale and actually improve the team's faceoff.

What other center are you going to take out for Jokinen then? Sutter? Malkin? Crosby?. Nope.

Jokinen was very good on the PK in Car, so he could do it, but I guess the concern is he can't grasp how we like to play the PK given the short time here. Which I think is nonsense.

Eh, why the f not. The Pens need a big shakeup with some speed.

Jokinen and Eaton have not been good at all this series. Eaton looked great in game 1, but absolutely terrible in games 2-4. Jokinen hasn't been getting played enough, but hasn't been outstanding.

Vitale and Kennedy are two of the faster guys on the team, something this team has definitely lacked through games 2-4. Maybe they'll actually have a breakout and cycle the puck. Maybe they'll actually show some spirit when they're on the ice. I'm sure TK will turn over the puck just as much as Geno, but at least he'll do it with a jump in his step.

Well that 4th line looks like a wrecking crew now. Except for Old Man Adams of course haha. I just love the way Joey V plays.

Hard to believe that Despres will be in lineup - he was awful in game 3. Maybe Eaton is hurt. But he wont get a reg shift - he was a deer in the headlights in game 3 - just awful. He only played 6 min too

you can't bench geno, iginla, or letang, so you bench Eaton and juicy. Still not fixing the problems we have at the top of our roster

I'd be good with one Nabokov-way-off-his-angle goal from TK.

The area where he's been leaving that shot open is exactly where TK likes to peel out from behind the net and rip a shot from soooooooo who knows.

60% dumpster fire
35% tough win
5% domination by Pens

I'm a broken fan.

Vitale and Kennedy will be absolutely flying. They have fresh legs and something to prove. I love that forth line, especially with the occasional double shift from one of the other three centers.

Glass is USELESS. Whether we see 2 more playoff games or 24 more, I do not want see him again.

Adams, while slipping, I still think he does have value on the PK. He made a couple of really good plays on those early PKs last game (including the missed call when he got in on Tavares' hands).

JJ was playing the PK when he got here, so there's no excuse to keep Glass in.

Jokinen can win draws and isn't a liability and can chip in on the offensive side of the puck, as well as PK. Glass, well he hits and plays the PK and it's not as if he's a standout PK'r.

Keeping Glass in the lineup over Jokinen just keeps adding to Byslma's ridiculous decisions. I'm sorry, late in a game, I WANT JJ in the lineup to win those important draws, or to be there on the wing in case the center gets kicked out of the draw.

Given all the options the Pens have I'm pretty sure people will be upset no matter who is playing. Guys that are worth playing are going to be scratched every night. I maintain that the line combinations simply aren't that big a deal. Everyone is obsessed with lines.

Jokinen has been pretty invisible in the series IMO so I don't have an issue with him sitting. With everyone healthy, maybe he goes back to just being depth.

I like the fourth line having an identity rather than being the place where scorers who can't fit into the top six play. Vitale, Adams, and Kennedy hopefully provide a good spark. The Pens need balance, they don't need to bombard the Islanders with offense. You figure Vitale and Kennedy are going to be flying tonight.

I'm not big on Despres playing over Eaton. I guess that's a move to help the breakout. I just hope they aren't sacrificing too much D in the process.

Eaton only played 10 minutes in game 4 and didn't hit the ice after the Islanders tied it. Engelland is a joke and was held to 12 minutes in game 2. Despres had a rough time in game 3, no doubt about it, but what are your other options? You have Eaton, Despres, Engelland, and Bortuzzo. Only one of those four has the skillset and ability that the Penguins absolutely need in this series.

The real shame is Bylsma's complete mishandling of Despres in the regular season is costing the team now. The Penguins could have a talented young defenseman capable of contributing valuable playoff minutes after honing his skills in the regular skills. Instead, he was benched or scratched for every mistake, despite his mistakes being no more egregious than the other defenseman on the roster, and was scratched against physical teams so the coaching staff had an excuse to play Engelland. Developing a young defenseman and boosting his confidence took a backseat to playing a scrub.

Now the scrub is playing like a scrub and the charmin soft old guy that no other team wanted is playing like a roll of extra soft. Fingers crossed that Despres has his head on straight and plays like we all know he can. The Penguins absolutely need him to.

Last game they started to (until Geno's third period debacle). I'm optimistic.

I'm not sure I'd pair Despres with Letang either.
