They're nuts if they go back to Fleury.

Why do some of you even watch the game? Complain complain complain. Is it just so if Pens win you are happy and if they lose you can beat your chest you know all the problems?

Yeah they not only lost 4 of their top forwards from an offensively challenged team, but doubled-down on that with a goalie who played as badly as Fleury.

No way you can go with Fleury. Vokoun for the most part looks calm and collected. I feel much more at ease with him between the pipes. He may not be as athletic, but he's normally not going to kill you with a stupid play or a LOL soft goal either.

The Pens have to be better next series, and I think they will be for several reasons. The Pens played this series with all of the pressure on their side. They were expected to win this easily and with their 1st round playoff troubles in the past, it put even more pressure and doubt on the team.

The Islanders played desperate and were definitely fired up by their coach and their fans. They had the underdog mentality the entire way and that motivated them even more. The Pens tend to be a team that plays down to lesser competition and plays up to better competition. We have seen it this year and in years past. The Pens wont have the same sort of pressure playing against the Senators. They wont be favored by much. The Pens know they are playing a better team and they're playing a team that may be motivated but motivated for the wrong reason. We saw what happened in the last game that they played with them, when the Senators (in a must game situation) became more concerned with Cooke than winning the game. I think it will be a tough series but the Pens wont be outplayed like they were in this series. Pens in 6.

I read clips from some of our players and also Bylsma over the last few days who all said that Vokoun's calmness gave the guys 'confidence' in the games we won. That's one hell of a slam against Fleury. I don't try to keep kicking him, but reading such quotes really gives a perspective.

C'mon HH, You've been around long enough to know that ANY tea will go back to their named "Number 1" goalie. Voukoun is a fantastic stop-gap -- doing exactly what he is being paid to do. He is covering for Fluery, but this team will give Fleury every chance to make it work. You know as much as I do, he will start game 1. I do believe, though, he will be on a shorter leash than he was in round 1. -- 2 games and that's it.

Man, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced Bylsma calls MAF's number for Game 1. Bylsma probably believes he needs Fleury for this team to win deep in the playoffs, and is gonna want to get him going as quickly as he can.

If the Isles played anybody but the Pens in the first round there's a good chance they'd move on to round 2.

Underrated move by shero, tricking NY into picking up strait. Dude was involved in roughly 100% of our goals.

The funny part is that I didn't think strait had a bad series. Some bad penalties, yeah, but all in all, the dude is young and has potential.

Isles should have won this series.

But they didn't.

Can OTT replicate NYI game?

I don't think so.

But it doesn't matter what Eismann thinks.
