My favorite part of overtime is watching the bench reaction when we score. Everybody is just so freaking happy that it makes me happier too lol

TK shows up vs. the Sens often.

A saunter around various boards has yielded early predictions that the Pens are going to get crushed.

Likely same boards that said Pens would crush Isles.

Nobody knows schquat.

Just watching the highlights, and I noticed this on first viewing, but did Iginla actually touch the puck on his goal? It looks to me like Strait puts it in his own net.

The Malkin shot block on that SH attempt really was huge. He made several enormous defensive plays in this one. I wish we'd see that from him more. The offense is great but he can really help the team by being a defensive force, which he's proven capable of.

I'm happy for Orpik. He gets crapped on a lot around here and I've been guilty of it too but he's had a pretty special amount of longevity here. 13 years in the organization, more games played as a D than anyone in their history. This'll be something to look back on.

Finally, although I think this series exposed a lot of bad things about this team that will hold them back from winning the Cup, it does feel good for the Pens in a historical sense to finally beat the Islanders in the playoffs. And it just feels good that they actually closed a series out after the last few years. I just wish they showed anything in this series that would give me hope for more.

Like a lot of this team, HH, Orpik can be dismally deleterious, and not.

No harm in calling either out.

I just watched the overhead from Root - that'll be Sid's goal after review. Strait shot it in.

Kind of funny too that Orpik ends it with that big shot of his that also broke Crosby's jaw. :o

Ha. TK was just about in "Crosby position" too.

Great moment for a long-time soldier like Orpik.

This marks a landmark for me....since I have been following the Pens, I have never seen them win a series while being outplayed this much.

Must not have seen or remembered 1999 against the Devils. That was the definition of stealing one.

Anyone else think that Bylsma will go back to Glass and Engelland against the Sens because of guys like Neil and other physical players? *groan*

I seriously hope not, but can't get past thinking he will. :(

It will be interesting. Who starts in goal will be an interesting choice as well. Whatever way they go, its a tremendous draw....far better than having to deal with any of the remaining teams.
