Vokoun definitely starts game 1. However MAF will be needed at some point before the playoffs are over.

If DB is even deliberating this, he's as crazy as 15% of the people on this board.

It's a total no brainer to stay with Vokoun. He is the better goalie.

Pens could be one of those teams that uses up both goalies throughout a run..

Me too. I think we will need both of them before this is over.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I would go MAF. Kind of like a clean slate and see how he does. Vokoun held the fort, weathered the storm and got us thru the rough waters, and he's capable of doing it again if needed. Let MAF see if he can get his game together but for the love of all things holy, he has to be on a short leash.

Torn, but I feel Fleury. I know its risky to "experiment" and see if he's ready, but it stands the chance to boost his confidence. What if Vokoun stays in and becomes average, and the other option is a cold and demoralized Fleury? We all know when Fleury gets going, you can ride that train far, but the question is getting coal in the engine.

Vokoun, tired of Fleury's erratic play.

This is how I feel, although two days ago I was on the stick with Vokoun train. Now that the concern of losing in the first round is over and I've thought about it more, I think we should go back to Fleury, but he should be on a RIDICULOUSLY short leash. I'd pull him the second he lets in a soft, own-goal of the back of his pad. But I think he deserves one more chance to see if he was able to regroup and get his act together over the past week.

We all know Fleury is a total headcase, who knows, maybe he was too scared to be the reason we were going to lose in the first round for the third straight year (he almost was) and now that we've exorcised our "first round demons" his head will be on straight again.

Originally I was thinking MAF gets right back in there if we made it past round 1, but I didn't expect Vokoun to play as out of his mind as he has either. I think you stick with your hot hand and start Vokoun, this is the NHL playoffs where a hot goalie is invaluable.

Were lucky enough to have 2 goalies capable of catching fire, so let Vokoun ride it and MAF will be that much more motivated to get back in the cage once it runs out

ride vokoun until he plays poorly. then, give fleury another try. I'm hesitant to declare vokoun as the #1 guy the rest of the way no matter what. he's a 36 year old who has seen a LOT of rubber in his career. but as long as he's playing well, keep him in there.

I'll create and vote in the option of "Either."

I really don't care. I'm behind whomever it is, and I'll be fine with the decision. I believe we need both goalies--and the team playing well in from of both goalies--to go all the way. TV knows what his role is, even if it's emergency fixer, and he's embraced it. Based on his quotes and his demeanor in interviews, I don't believe he'll take it as a slap in the face if MAF starts in game 1. I think he'll see it as a strategic necessity for MAF to get his head right, because we can't become a one-goalie team.

TV in game 1 affords some stability and continuity from this past series. MAF in game 1 tells the team that they also have to grow up, get smart, and do their part in getting their heads out of their butts playing in front of him. Both can do well vs. the Sens.

Let's go, TV! Let's go, Flower! Let's go, Pens!

I hope to not see Fleury again this season which most likely means we either won a cup or had 4 losses in a series of 1-0

Gotta be Flower. Dude won a cup for us and has shown he can bounce back extremely well. I blame overall team defense for a lot of his struggles, too.

MAF has managed to become less popular than Bylsmagic and I didn't think that was possible.
