If we keep the stretch passes to a minimum we're a MUCH more dangerous team. Great adjustments tonight by Bylsma and Vokoun saved us a few times.

Great showing by the captain too. Geno was looking good tonight as well.

Orpik, amazing, keep it up.

Orpik was been good this series :thumb:

One of the big keys tonight was the Pens putting puck off the boards in their own zone and the neutral zone. They'd let the Senators pinch, then pass it right off the boards.

When the Pens weren't being dumb they were throttling Ottawa.

the first two were bad, but that third one is on letang for being an idiot.

Um, how was the first one bad, except on the Pens defense for letting them throw the puck across the paint to an unmolested player?

I hope Vokoun is still in net for game 3. He hasn't done anything to lose that spot. Fleury did, plain and simple. And I like Flower.

Vokoun starting to look like a backup. He made 2 HUGE saves, but made a couple really bad plays. I'm not sure if 'now's the time', but the MAF clock is ticking.

Great win, though...Give Lehner a lot of credit. This should've been 6-3...well, 6-1, but, whatever.

Jim Houghston: " And the senators finally get the puck back because Morrow has to go for a change."

That was choke-hold shift by #10 to crush any late game charge by the Sens. I'd really like to see him play with a real center....

I'd add Voukon to the ugly. This was not his best game.

Ottawa blows, if the Pens care, it'll be over in 4, they just can't compete with us.

I'm loving Morrow on the Pens, but I do question whether he should play another year in the NHL.
He looks so gassed at all times.

There was a ton to like about that game, and quite a few things to dislike about that game, but I'll take it anyday.

Game 3 might be the time to put Flower back in if you plan on doing at all at some point. Not a decision I'd want to make. But I guess I'd stick with Vokoun.

Engelland and Vokoun lead the way for dumb. Sutter just looks numb out there... Otherwise a really good game for the pens.

I thought Sutter made some GREAT defensive plays. Was in the right position and did a lot of good stick work in his own zone.
