He was also on ice for pre-game warmup on Friday. Everyone except Bennett was.

Saying DB doesn't like Vitale is dumb and super group think mentality.

I'm not saying he doesn't like him personally, I'm saying he obviously doesn't like his game.

If he's coached him the most out of anyone except Engo, why then doesn't he play consistently? Oh, because Bylsma obviously doesn't think much of his game. He's watched him enough and obviously doesn't like his game.

So yes, I'll continue to say that DB doesn't like Vitale's game.

How is that a bad thing? Vitale isn't going to be any more than a 4th line plug. That's who he is.

Its just hard to accept that Juice isn't in the lineup after being quite good down the stretch for the Pens... HOWEVER, the type of game Juice plays isn't the type of player that is falling out of the lineup right now. You can only put so much finesse and playmaking into a lineup in the playoffs.. I'd prefer the bottom 6 to be more grit/tough than what Juice is for the playoffs personally..but if a top 6 guy was to go down I'd think he would get a plug at that point.

I don't think bylsma has any inherent bias towards or against anyone. But citing vitale's tenure as proof that bylsma likes him doesn't make any sense. I mean...the other guy who has been with him forever got scratched for a dinosaur tonight.

Maybe it's emotional unavailability. He uses separation and silence as weapons.

What was DB's reasoning for playing Glass and not Vitale?

I love Vitale's energy and am not sold on Glass really at all. Hopefully he goes back to Vitale for game 4.

I'm guessing it had something to do with Vitale being "unavailable."

Bylsma said Vitale will be at the next practice (which I'd assume is tomorrow)

That will be next season... Since practices apparently aren't needed in the playoffs

They played a 2OT game and have 2 full days between games.

The Sens didn't practice today, either.

this.
besides, a video session would be more beneficial than a practice at this point.

Same with Jokinen, apparently (scratch-wise).

And I think you know why.
