What a statement from the Pens. They could have easily been doubting themselves after blowing game three and trailing after one tonight. They responded by blowing this team out of the water. This is probably the biggest statement they've made in a long time. A convincing beat down in a playoff game where they had the chance to crush the spirit of their opponent. This is the kind of game that gives me hope for this team.

I want to take aim at that bozo Dejan for a minute because from what I understand he wrote some column recently questioning why the Pens would even bother getting Iginla. Now I know he's gone full blown shock jock sports writer and just writes drivel to get attention but this is the kind of thing that needs to be called out. Is 12 points in ten playoff games not a good enough reason? It's pathetic what those morons at the Trib are writing these days. Get a clue Dejan!

I'd like to know what was said and by whom in the lockeroom after the first... This team may have found itself here tonight

The Old 29-er' with some tough love ... the pens need to play the right way from the start. Even the pens won't be able to pull 7 goals at will.

After that play, I said to myself, "now that's the Gonchar we know and love."

Sad but true.

Shouldn't you two be back on page 10 still?

If we play that game, it could just as easily be 2-2.

It's gonna be unnecessary but if this series accidentally went to a game 6 anyone have any logic as to what time it would be?

HH in Dejans defense the article was more about how iginla has been misused by Bylsma...

Did you read the column? He wrote about how the Pens coaching staff were forcing him to play left wing and not using him on the point on the powerplay.

I didn't read the article because I don't read Dejan. But even if that's the point he's making, it's rubbish. The production speaks for itself. I've been plenty critical of Bylsma but people need to stop obsessing over the lines. Playing LW sure doesn't seem to be affecting the way Iginla is producing. That's what matters.

Dupuis only the second Penguin ever to get 2 SHG in one playoff year. Mario also did it in 1991 and 1992.
