It would be nice for Malkin to stand out in this series. His offense wasn't needed in 2009 ECF at all but will definitely be needed for what should be a marathon of a series.

His offense wasn't needed in ECF 09? He singlehandedly won that series.

Is this a sarcastic jab at people who think he can do no wrong or do you really think that? The Pens outplayed the Canes for 240 minutes that series. They would have won that series without Crosby or Malkin.

Why are we rehashing games from 1991 and 1992?

Can we get a Sens v. Rags Conference Finals thread in NPR just to balance out the juju?

At least we have this thread for File Bylsma if we lose the next 3 to Ottawa.

Not saying you are wrong but you have to do some things from time to time to earn others respect. See the GDT rules page.

It now sounds like the Bruins may hold out Seidenberg one more game. I like that, avoid getting the defensemen any game action before the next series if possible. It really looks like they'll be healthy though. It would have been nice to get at least that one game at home with a few rookies on their blueline.

Penguins should win the match by 2 touchdowns atleast....

Seriously though, why tick off the hockey gods and get ahead of ourselves?
