I feel kinda sorry for Fleury on a personal level.

I still have a fear they will need him at some point but there's no reason to screw with the current setup

He's young. There's no reason to think that his best moments don't lie ahead. Maybe even sometime over the next 8-14 games.

Yeah, he should be fine. I mean it is probably a case of this team being sooooo stacked that the pressure got to him. If it doesn't work for him here he could go somewhere like Phoenix, Colorado, Carolina, Edmonton etc. and be a franchise player.

Really pleased at how they took the hope completely away very quickly. It was clear early on that this wasn't going to be the Senators night.

Way to go Pens!

I've always maintained I love Fleury as a human being and a teammate. I know it's probably eating him up inside, but he has been a fantastic teammate. You never know what might happen with Vokoun, as incredible as he has been these playoffs.

There are still two more series to go, but Vokoun is playing at an elite level right now.

To your point, Roloson took TB to a conference final and the eventual champs to 7. Just cuz Koun is older doesn't mean he can't go the rest of the way.

Maybe the hope of the Sens missing the playoffs next year will motivate Alfredsson to return for another season; so the Pens can finally acquire him at the deadline and he can win a cup.

What a response after that fluke OT loss. That's as dominant a series win as we've seen in the Crosby/Malkin era. DB will get little credit because he had the much better team, but PM had no answers to even make this close.

Great to see Malkin get his bromance partner back. He predicted Neal would break out, and Neal responded with 5 goals and 2 assists in 2 games.

That was a great one-touch pass by Malkin to spring Neal on the hat trick goal. Slick, confident drag and score by Neal.

I feel like vokoun has earned the net at this point. I do not think they put MAF in at all the rest of these playoffs. Just my opinion.

Dude has made like $500,000 this series watching the Penguins (AKA most prolific team in the NHL) play hockey from the bench (AKA best seat in the house). Money is not everything but I only have so much sympathy to give to an under performing professional athlete. I hope being a new father takes away some of the difficulty he's experiencing for the time being.

Absolutely. MAF may still be needed and he has to be ready for that, but it's Vokoun's spot to lose.

Alfredsson looks like a souless ginger clown, but he does not act like one. It must have been tough for him realizing that he may never play again.

When I watched Anderson's post game interview, I get a weird Tiger Woods vibe in his mannerisms.

His comments after game 4 solidified his teams performance in game 5.

I just did an offhand mental calculation of his per-game salary to this point. There's no such thing as "free".
