Penalty Kill improvement?

Postby headh on Wed May 29, 2013 10:55 am

Why are we so much better in the PK this post season compared to last post season? Currently we are killing 89.7% with 2 SHG. Last post season we were only killing 47.8%.

This regular season our PK was only 79.6 and ranked as one of the worst in the NHL.

Why is our PK so much better so far this post season compared to the regular season?

Scratch him, he's useless. Just like that other bum, Brent Sutter.

ottawa's had a crap power play all year. i wouldn't really put a ton of stock in what the PK did in that series.

the NYI series was nice, but the sample size was still small. watching the games, it didn't look like a dominant penalty kill. the islanders missed on a ton of chances. stretch that out to 40 games and i think we're closer to that 79% number
