Which JJ was better since the trade deadline?

Postby Big Easy Pens Fan on Sat Jun 01, 2013 9:31 am

Regular season
Jokinen...10 games, 7 goals, 4 assists, 11 points (1.10 ppg)
Jagr...11 games, 2 goals, 7 assists, 9 points (0.82 ppg)

Playoffs
Jokinen...6 games, 0 goals, 3 assists, 3 points (0.50 ppg)
Jagr...12games, 0 gaols, 4 assists, 4 points (0.33 ppg)

And the face-off percentage isn't in these stats, We know who is better there.

Hmm. Maybe the Bruins should have gotten Jokinen after Ignila snubbed them. :)

There were a few games (during the reg. season) where Jussi was our best player.

Every time I see "Double J" or "JJ" I automatically think Jeff Jimerson.

Would you say JJ was...dy-no-mite...?

In terms of the time that mattered (neither player vaulted either team into the playoffs, they were both firmly in place) in the playoffs, neither has been particularly impactful. In the playoffs, it might be Jagr by a nose as he's created more offense, but early on he played with poor linemates. It's close though...

Jagr's been good at possession, but really nothing more threatening.

Speaking of Jagr, has Lesky even posted on this board since he told us how bad Morrow was?

So, you want to compare

Guy 1: Traded for a 1st round pick
Guy 2: Traded for a sack of used jock straps
