4 wins are required to win an NHL playoff series. The Bruins only have half that.

If the Pens get swept, there is a greater chance of Bylsma getting fired

at least we now know 100% that we have no hope for flower (this goes out to all those super pro-fleurist) and we need to wait till our team matures

1.) For a while, we thought the lockout would scuttle the whole season. Even if the Pens go out in horribly embarrassing fashion again, I still got a lot of enjoyment out of this hockey season.

2.) The Pens' going out in horribly embarrassing fashion should at least prompt big changes with regard to the roster and coaching staff. Said changes might not ultimately be for the best, but it should at least make for an entertaining summer of hockey news. (Not that I'm against the probable big changes--firing Bylsma, trading Letang, trading Fleury, etc.--just that there's no guarantee that blowing things up will actually improve the outcomes.)

That's all I got...

They have a much better idea of the impact value of Murray, Iginla and Morrow.

We don't have to worry about how we are going to afford letang this summer.

we are NOT trading letang lol, we do need someone to support him though. The whole young team just collapse with emotions when crosby isn't leading well and we just need to play as a TEAM...this isn't tennis lol

I would even take 3 to 4 really good shifts during the game as a positive, but we didnt even have that. There's just nothing to go off of.

Some players are doing better than others.
Morrow, Sutter, Neal, and Cooke seem to make things happen at times.

We probably aren't, but I wish we were. What use is a defenceman who doesn't want to play defence?

Whoever had 146131 for the 50/50 raffle won $26,025.

http://penguins.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=62061

The winner does not need to be present to claim his/her prize.

That's crazy isn't it?? It was over $22,000 for a regular season game I went to!

Positives?

They aren't down 3-0 in the series. This IS still fixable.

That being said..... :scared:

+1 It's one thing to lose 3-0 having a bunch of shots off the post or fluke bounces that end up right on the Bruins sticks. But the debacle last night had nothing to due with bad luck - more just pure suck.
