interesting. I don't agree that it's worth the risk mostly because for me, ANY risk of eye damage is too much. the car accident thing, I'd ask do you drive to the rink without wearing a seat belt and with your airbags disconnected?
the league I play in requires facial protection for all but the elite level (all former college and juniors players) but there is a league in town in which you can be playing in your very first hockey game ever and have no facial protection. those guys have no idea of the risks and it just baffles me that they allow that.

one of my teammates owns a small hockey shop and he tried this one out and said there was no fog whatsoever and that was this past Sunday at a rink in the Deep South on a warm, humid day.
