I really hope you are right. Especially on Fleury and Bylsma. But Bylsma HAS to go. HAS to.

Sorry, but the two superstar model isn't working. Malkin is traded this offseason. That's my bet.

You can't continually tie up $18 million in two centers when you can't advance in the postseason.

It's clearly not working.

Superstars only get you so far. You need balance up and down. We don't have defined roles on this squad.

Things need to seriously change.

Since that's what you think, Malkin plays better than Crosby in the post season... so let's buy out Crosby and trade him instead.

Unless Geno wants some crazy figure (like the max), I can't see him going anywhere. Remember, we're going to free up 5 million from Fleury (hopefully).

My prediction: all back next season.

If Bylsma is back I won't be excited at all about the season.

Yes, the second longest playoff-making streak in the NHL and consistently a favorite to win every year. What an awful life it is.

We should sell now, and save ourselves some money. He's a bonehead. Tons of talent, but just dumb.

In a tighter, more disciplined system, Letang could absolutely thrive. This is not that system. Keep the talented defender, fire the coach. Letang and Despres can be partners for 10 years.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

I thought he played Datsyuk/Zetterberg D as well and believe this is where his game is going, which is nothing but a good thing.
Crazy not to extend him.

In my eyes, if a coach proclaims before a series that he doesn't intend to match lines, he better freaking win.

A split in Boston wouldnt have done anything, because theyd win 5 at home and lose 6 on the road. Even with a Game 3 win I don't think we would have won the other 2 giving us what we needed, so it really makes no difference.

Interesting rationalization. You sure do have a keen grasp on the future.

I think most of us agree DB should be the first to go. Then you look at Letang and see if you can fetch anything close to fair value (which will be very tough).

This was a game that didn't really come down to coaching. This team had guts. Guts i thought was long gone and i'm gonna admit i was wrong on that account.

But... if this team is gonna thrive moving forward, i fire Bylsma. Sorry, but this team has reached it zenith with Bylsma at the helm.

We need to get rid of Fleury (inconsistency) and Bylsma (bad gameplanning). I'd like to see Letang stay but the new coach and veteran D-men need to keep barking at him if he gets too aggressive. He's such a tough and fast player that if he really put his mind to it he could be a top notch all around d-man, not just an offensive one.

What are you talking about? This team couldn't be any more balanced.

They are not balanced. Their third line never scores, their 4th line is ancient.

They rely on Geno and Sid to get them to the Cup. It's only worked once and you could argue they did t without Sid.

Having superstars on your roster guarantees you nothing.

See the la kings. Aside from maybe kopitar, they don't have any superstars.

This roster is obviously not built for the cup. Evidence is proving this year in and year out.

That was the worst game I can remember Sid playing since I was wondering if he was fully recovered from his concussion. I mean, he seriously looked like he was in a fog out there. No idea what was going on.

Letang has no brain in his head.

Good to see DB stick Bennett out there with the way he was playing. Vokoun was excellent. I actually kind of wanted the Pens to go with MAF tonight and feel like an idiot. Tonight actually brought me a reality check on MAF because I can't remember the last time I've felt so comfortable about the Pens' goaltending in the playoffs.

Malkin great. Neal very good again - nice series from him. Cooke and Sutter had dandies as well.

Malkin played one of the best games I've ever seen. All over the ice. Best player for either team excluding goalies.

Crazy injustice that he didn't have any points tonight.
