Sid looked good until they took his mask off. Don't know if that affected him somehow. Or maybe it was just Bruins' solid gameplan that frustrated him to no ends.

Sid looked the best he has this whole series when we wasn't wearing a helmet, so, no, that doesn't fly.

Pierre McGuire just said on Montreal radio that Crosby is "missing a gear", clearly not as quick as during the Ottawa and NYI series. Does not know if it's due to injury or whatever. Crosby will have to speak on it himself.

Don't like the excuses. Sid had be very good in this series and he's been the opposite. Very strange. He didn't play all that well against Philly last year either.
He's gonna have a chip on his shoulder next year.

The flyers were physical with the pens in last years playoffs we know the result. Here we go again. Now all the sid haters will say see he is a baby, he whines when he is a hit. We all know that is not true. The bruins got in sid's head early in game 1. He is still spooked by them. Time for the real sid to appear and carry the pens to four in a row. He and the team can do it.

I'm guessing Sid's problems are somewhat injury related. Since having his face broken, he just hasn't been the same guy we saw in February and March. He's been there in stretches during games but he hasn't been his usual dominant fearless puck possession style self. Couple that with the tighter defenses in the playoffs and his line mates being pretty bad.

Yeah, Where has Dupuis been? He's been pretty consistant all year and through the first two rounds. I haven't really noticed him outside the PK this series at all. He looks like he's skating in mud as well. Is Boston just a fast team that makes our guys look slower than usual?
