If Penguins are stressed out about being on the cusp of elimination, it doesn't show at their game-day skate. Players are lively, animated.

Thanks, Admin! This is one of the things I read that contradicts Dejan's report.

Maybe the team just doesn't like DK being in the room. :pop:

Meh, the Pens just have to win 1 game 4 times. Difficult, nigh impossible. But, the team knows what it has to do. It has to win in regulation. Control the game again and make Rask actually work. He has had an insanely easy series. The amount of iron work behind has been helpful and in my opinion this series could just as easily be 2-1 Pens if a few breaks happen for the Pens.

Hey, I was in section D-24 the night Eddie Westfall proved it could be done, so I believe.
With any luck I'll be is section 231 on Wednesday when it happens again.

1. The Pens have won a Cup before. They know what it takes. That knowledge is a powerful confidence booster.
2. Iginla and Morrow can provide valuable leadership in this situation. this is a big reason why they were brought into the room.
3. The bounces are bound to start going the Pens' way. You can't hit that many posts without some starting to go in. We're more than due.
4. This Bruins team blew a 3-0 lead to Philly three years ago and Rask was in net. No way that is not in the back of their minds.
5. The Pens won 15 straight during the year and 3/3 against Boston. They can do 4 in a row.
6. If the Pens can win the next two the pressure gets turned up EXPONENTIALLY against Boston and game 5 is at home.
And most importantly...
7. We have the cool, calm, steely inspiration of The Living Legend Mario Lemieux in our corner. Never doubt Lemieux.

It can be done. Go Pens.

Don't forget, the Bruins won a cup more recently than the Pens.

Ney Sayers get off this thread.

Two goals in three games is where the doubts stem from for me.

IMO, it would be a sin to allow Jeremy Jacobs the chance to raise and to have his name on the Cup again.

Think about this. If he had his way, we wouldn't have even had a season this year. Please, Pens, do NOT let this man near the Cup, Pens--at least not this year.

Anybody else worried about Orpik's health after that hit he took from Lucic?

Can't believe he came back so quick after that. He really looked like he was just broke as he stood there frozen for a couple seconds...really worried me.

Not sure if he can go much further, but I admire his never quit attitude.

I’m IN, all the way up to the top of my rapidly graying head. I so want this team to stage a comeback tonight, even though it will, I know, create the kind of emotional turmoil that I hate and work so hard to avoid in other areas of my life. It absolutely amazes me how calm, cool and collected I can be in my day-to-day existence and yet become such an emotional basket case when it comes to my favourite sports team. Go Pens.

But seriously. We left Pittsburgh broken hearted last Sunday. Not ready for the season to be over, but they, ANYONE, have got to figure out how to score!

Will be there, in front of my tv, screaming at the top of my lungs... pissing off my neighbors.

My Friend at work picked Fleury for first Pens Goal. Not sure how I feel about that :scared:

It's up to the players. I'm sending out positive energy, but it's up to the team. No pics, no special combination of words or posts is going to make them win. They are, with our support.

Let's go, Pens... Let's go out there and kick some ass, one shift, one period, one game at a time. We believe in you.

That being said, I'm breaking this out for tonight, which I usually revise for mine own self-congratulatory birthday thread:

May you be as awesome tonight as it is, Penguins. WIN.

being realistic about things especially after watching their performance for several games does not mean you are not rooting for them or that you are not hoping for them to win and are not cheering them on.

I've been very realistic, but I had hope. Nothing wrong with that. He's just a troll.
