But still hilarious.

Crosby being top 5 is equally outrageous.

I wish I could remember where I read this.

Some sportswriter said Letang's inconsistency is because he is being played so much, his defensive partners are constantly shuffling. He doesn't know who he's playing with shift to shift. So he is adjusting his play shift to shift.

I don't know how much stock I put into this theory. It might be valid, I don't know.

I agree. With as much passion as DB puts into keeping 14/87/9 together regardless of the minimal output, the defensive parings almost seem like a random cluster ---- from one shift to the next sometimes. I wish he'd pair them up and let it be.

You do realize chara played with seidenberg , when he got injured he played like close to 40 minutes rotating between 2 rookies .
then he played with a backup before seidenberg came back.

Yeah, and he looked awful for large parts of games. Isn't that crazy?

I'm not sure this is an apt comparison.

It's a fantasy ranking, so I don't know what's remarkable about it.

But it's nice to see the effort people put into crapping on their own players. Clap clap.
