Why dis that matter? Sid **** blew ass this series.

They played Sid well, there is nothing more to be said about that. Can you honestly look at Sid and say that he deserves to be stripped of the title of best player in the world? Ask yourself that honestly...

Yep... Sorry to say but I expected more. Anything would have been better Than nothing

You mean the top end talent that scored 2 goals in 4 1/2 games? Listen, I could care less if they fire the guy, but coaching changes seem to have short lived effects. Its the personnel that needs to be blamed here.

Believe! Believe! right?

Yes, actually. Right! What was the harm in thinking our guys could pull out a win? Seriously. Did a large group of us BELIEVING make this humiliating sweep more humiliating? More "swept"? No.

I'm no Pollyanna, but I chose to believe rather than not. So, it didn't work. Not the first time, and surely won't be the last.

the only common theme in the playoff failures that past few seasons every time Bylsma was outcoached by a monsterous grand canyon like margin. has no plan B. does the same **** over and over again

if Bergeron played in a more offensive system he'd put up 90-100 points every year but he plays in the Boston system and focuses on two-way hockey. He just completely neutralized Crosby and scored a GWG OT goal. Krejci is also having an incredible playoffs.

4 no-shows or otherwise embarrassing performances by sid in his last 7 series. i wouldn't strip him yet, but he's on trial

so basically, everytime they have lost after his second year. my god you are a **** genius

losing a series isn't the same as being a non-factor in a series. teams get tight in the playoffs, and sid gets shut down. that's a long term trend. but against AHL defenses, and a pitiful ottawa team, he's fine.

he's still the best player, i guess. but his playoff resume is tumbling downhill. too easy to neutralize.

Ottawa was labeled as one of the better defensive teams in the league. The Bruins just played us well, man. These things happen. If you're ready to throw Sidney freaking Crosby under the bus, it's time to follow a new team. I hear Columbus is looking for fans...

This is going to sound all blue-jersey fair-weather, but I hope Letang is wearing a different city's jersey next year. I think his performances in game 1 and 2 trumped the ********* of everyone else. He was pretty wreckless otherwise too.

lets not pretend like this is a new, fluke thing with sid and the playoffs. and don't get so binary. putting him on trial isn't running him out of town.

I think probably 90 percent of Pens fans agree with you. There is nothing fair weather about that. He should be traded.

My guess is some people have a longer memory than this past series. Just a hunch. The season was very fun.

Awesome forum you have going here. By no means am I a hockey expert, just a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan. It looks like they were forcing shots to me. Lazy, entitled looking play. No effort to get to the close to the net before taking a shot. Now who's yo blame?

I just can't see it. Without Letang this defensive corps looks even worse.

We have up 3 goals in 2 road games and couldn't win either one of them.

Letang can't leave because then your next best pairing is orpik and Martin and that's downright ugly.

Bylsma is blaming Rask and some kind of magic on the series loss because the puck just wouldn't go in.
