Thank You Pittsburgh Penguins

Postby FreeCandy44 on Fri Jun 07, 2013 9:40 pm

Hell of a season. Many highlights and fun games. First class all the way and I cannot wait till October.

We were swept in the Conference Finals by the 4 seed. One hell of a season. What are you talking about?

The Penguins made the Final Four. Someday, Pittsburgh sports fans will realize how difficult it is to win championships.

Great season, Pens!

I believe that drug is called perspective.

That drug is very difficult to come by, Gaucho.

Big thanks for the management especially. Mistakes or no, they definitely put the Pens in a position to win the cup. Shero making the moves, the ownership willing to take on extra $.

Not every team has that capability.

Ran into a team playing insane defense and and even more insane goaltender. Rough way to go out.. but I don't think we played horribly. Had so many chances to win game 1, 3, and 4.

Well, we're at least one of the four best teams in the league this year. Not bad, but we have high expectations and there's nothing wrong with that. Hopefully adjustments are made this summer to make us better.

I believe that drug is called perspective.

Perspective said that we have the best 2 players in the world. We are the number one seed in the East. We picked up the top 2 players at the trade deadline. The entire sports world said we had an "embarrassment of riches" in terms of players. We had leadership and experience beyond comprehension. The entire sports world said it was Stanley Cup or bust. Hell, our own GM said we are "all in" RIGHT NOW THIS YEAR!!! Perspective?? We scored 2 goals in 4+ games!.........nuff said.....

This team was put together to win the Cup this year. Next year's team will look nothing like this. Maybe that is a good thing.

Who cares, I've totally lost faith in the core of this team. Until that's radically shaken up, I'm not expecting much when it matters.
