I can't fully support a team with Dan "one look" Bylsma at the head. He can't adjust, can't win when teams really game plan and adjustments are necessary...in post season. Regular season, there isn't much time so there isn't much practice and scheming based on one team.
I'm moving on. I'll support the players but the organization is losing their prime time frame to win a cup or two with a special core.
So what is the difference between now and 2 weeks ago? Will you consume the product any less?
Two weeks ago, well before the Penguins played a legit contender.... The team was playing well... They ran into a team that is coached by a legit coach that game planned and adjusted to shut the Pens down from scoring 4 goals per game to less then 4 goals in 4 games..
What adjustment did Bylsma make? The team certainly wasn't prepared.
They should have been ready and split the home games 1 & 2. They got embarrassed.... And Bylsma should have been on a short leash after last year as is.
I"ll support the players, Geno, Pascal and others that I appreciate but the team clearly won't go anywhere based off of individual talent and All stars brought in by Ray Shero.
So, in terms of your fanship, nothing has really changed. You're not "totally done".
I'm not getting into a pissing match, you enjoy your summer and come back with hopes of butterflies and Stanley Cups.
If you want to go on with your ALL IN emotionally attached attitude, go for it. The team had the tools, the potential and totally pissed it away. Now Boston and Chicago are going for the cup? Boston, a team that barely beat Toronto and had the New York Rangers score more goals on Tuuka Rask then Sid, Geno, etc.
I'm just stating that with how the past four years have been, you can judge my loyalty all you want, but if 2009 was the best it's going to get and we just live off Regular Season blow out wins and awesome individual highlight goals........Count me out.
I'm a fan, not a player.....and I'm set on cool. I don't have to be consumed by the team. It's the players that will have to deal with Bylsma same old "Get to their game" style.
