People always complain about the surplus on D and lack of forwards in the system...

he's a restricted free agent. His cap hit was $600k last year.

He never played a game for the Ducks last year after they acquired him. Lets not act like this guy is suddenly penciled into the top 12. He's a fringe NHL pest at best. Forward depth for a defenseman that had negative percent chance of ever putting on an NHL jersey with this franchise. Sounds like a good deal to me. Ohh boo hoo he's mean and he can be dirty and wah wah wah. Go watch roller hockey or tennis.

Not a huge fan of Harry or Glass but talks of buying out guys that make that little is silly. The hit to hide Glass in WBS is negligable. Harry would make $660,000 and is a serviceable player especially when you try to keep Dupuis, Cooke and/or Murray next year.

I can careless what he has done in his past. As long as he does what we need him to do in the future.

This move wasn't about the guy we got, it was about thinning out the blueline with a deadwood defenceman, and we got other guys we know who need ice time to develop futher in the AHL to become a NHL defenceman. Grant was a filler, moving him will be a better option to give other yonger guys a chance for time in the AHL.

Didn't that deadwood defenseman almost make the team a couple seasons ago but go injured in camp?

Paul Bissonette almost made the team as a defensemen at one time. Doesn't mean he deserves a shot now.

But has quickly been surpassed by new prospects and draft picks. Yes, same guy. He doesn't have a role on this team right now.

Not making excuses, but could be Philly, too. They want you to go out there and play on the edge, for sure. Lots of guys get out of the Flyers organization and clean up their act.

If you ever need a porn produced and distributed, apparently Z's your guy.

Emptynetter's found this: http://www.canada.com/albernivalleytimes/story.html?id=7aa9ba73-d4a9-45a7-997b-1795d4453ca1

What an idiot. Also clarifies the above pedophile remark.

I'll get upset if he gets a considerable amount of minutes on the NHL club. Chances are he won't, so even remotely worrying about this is silly.
