Good for Billy G. Anytime I see pics / video of him not in hockey gear, I immediately think of this guy...

Scored the most exciting goal I have ever watched!

And then promptly fell on his face. I forget who it was, but it was a goal to put the game into OT with something ridiculous like .7 seconds left.

Awesome.

I remember how unexcited I was when there were all of those rumors that Guerin was going to get traded but they didn't know to which team. When I found out is was the Pens I was actually against the move as I never really liked Guerin since that incident with Draney when he was with the Stars. Every move he has made since coming to the Pens has won me over. I am surprised at how much he has embraced being a Penguin since he only played for the penguins for such a short period of time. From being clutch with the pens during the cup run, openly lobbying to stay another year during the parade, all of those pics of him with the cup, and so on. I am happy he remains part of this organization and congrats to making it to the USHHOF.

Listened to a Guerin interview on NHL XM/Sirius. Real cool dude. Congrats to him. Glad he's still part of the organization.

Yea, true dat. Jagr's a hired gun no doubt. But...he is still on that wall in the CEC. And he's not coming down from that wall anytime soon. Just be grateful for the fact that the years he wore the Pens logo were the best years of his career. And I'd still have his jersey if Katrina hadn't taken it from me.

Editing here: And when the Devils become sellers at the trading deadline he'll be wearing the Islanders logo, and he will have played for all 5 teams of the ole Atlantic Division. :face:

Guerin has him beat by 1 team. Devils/Oilers/Bruins/Stars/Blues/Sharks/Isles/Pens. After the Devils traded him he became a hockey mercenary, never staying in one city for more than 4 seasons.
