Before this went to print, two questions should have been asked.
1. Have any other local celebrities benefited from this policy?
2. Do the DMVs in other cities have similar policies?

If either answer was "yes", there should be no story. This is just all kinds of nothing.

Cannot believe they continue to make an issue out of this. What a garbage paper this has become.

Perhaps he should be come affiliated with Penn State. They won't touch him then. In fact, they might talk about how it should have been an honor to the people in line when he took the time to acknowledge and bypass them.

You are a hideous person.

It never was news. It was a PATHETIC media attempt to smear the image of a "decent human being". Harrison Mooney and his negative TMZ style journalism = :slug:

you're probably right about this. not only is this not news but it's not even new news. a few years ago we had a similar story here in Atlanta about a celeb that was allowed to skip the DDS line. pretty sure it was Usher.

I don't think it bothers Crosby all that much. The people that will use this is confirmation bias because they already dislike Crosby. The people that are fans of Crosby will see it as nothing more than opportunity to smear his name. Just like everything else in the news that really isn't news. Crosby will still be cheered and jeered for the rest of his career. So in the end, there is no reason for anyone to pay much attention to the talking heads or the headlines.

Yes it was and I remember that. It's basic common sense, even if you don't expect that to happen at the DMV office for any reason :D , especially in Atlanta. Why have a very recognizable person stand in line and distract/create a stir/blahblahblah just by being there and that doesn't even account for security that might well be needed at times? Let them go ahead and all good.

A real slow news day I guess to see this in print.

There's a reason why print is dying. There's also a reason why something like this was posted.

I had a subscription to the PG that was supposed to last until December. Been a customer for many years. After that garbage, I called up and donated the rest of my papers to Newspaper in Education and cancelled my subscription. He asked me why and I was told him. He wasnt surprised and it seems a lot of people have called and complained.

I'm pretty sure this would have been a story during the trade deadline. People are morons 365 days a year.

first of all, it's "become", not "be come". second of all, get out of here with that pathetic garbage. no reason to bring something like that into the conversation.

If I'm the wife's husband(the editor) and that's really how this came to be on the PG. I'd be so embarrassed for my life.
