How so? I changed mine to my friend's address and will change it back after ordering tickets.

"Change your billing address right now, order tickets, then change it back after the order has processed. Select email for ticket delivery and you will be good to do. I am assuming nobody gets their credit card statements in the mail anymore.[/quote]

I dont know how that will work. The credit card address and billing address has to match up for the card to be successfully processed.

If you try to "trick" they system, TicketMaster can cancel the tickets (barcode on tickets).

I dont know if its worth rolling the dice on.

Yeah I would have no problem just leaving it at MSux' address if I were going to do that. I don't get paper bills anyway. I actually decided not to get tickets anyway. I'm buying tickets for the Lightning in October, I don't need to be traveling/hoteling twice for games in the same 2-3 week period.

That is incorrect otherwise there would be no such thing as a billing address. It would just be the credit card address. You don't think kids in college have their house as their billing address?

At the time I order the tickets, the Ohio address is my billing address. If I decide to change my billing address later that is none of their business.

Exactly. Once the transaction is complete, the transaction is complete.

yeah you're changing the billing address on the CC not on Ticketmaster. Still, if you knew an address to use I guess it wouldn't be horrible but your CC might flag that transaction.

I did the same thing, worked great. You can even keep your street address the same and use Columbus, OH as the city, state, and zip and the order still goes through. Just change your address back afterward. Piece of cake.

As far as the hotels go, I've stayed in all 3 near the arena and the Drury Inn is by far the best. The place is overrun with Pens fans on gameday and they give you vouchers for free beer in their lounge. That's right, free beer. And the hotel is nice and spotless and it has it's own parking garage. You can park your car securely and walk everywhere all weekend.

Fail at purchasing at a Ticketmaster outlet in Ohio. The store was blocked from selling tickets.

Ohio sucks.

There seem to be only scattered singles in all of the price ranges below $99.50 per ticket at this time.

Singles only in $27.00, $42.50, $44.50, $47.00, $55.00, $69.50, $74.50, $89.50, and $99.50.

4 seats in the upper level. $74 each after fees. Was hoping there would be something cheaper but I guess they have learned their lesson.

Any hotel suggestions? Can't remember where I stayed last time but it was nice. Red Roof Inn is on sale for $84 a night on priceline. Might just pull the trigger now.

The Nov 2nd game? If it is, see ya there. I will be two rows in front of you. Row K, seats 4, 5 & 6.

I got 5 tickets on TM in 201 for 69. Was online right at noon and lost my first set because I wasn't fast enough. They were going fast. Great to live right across the river from Wheeling. Only single tickets left in upper bowl. Some masses of tickets left in lower bowl.

I was shocked to get on TM and use the interactive seat map and see that indeed they do only have singles left in the upper bowl. I think when it comes to Sept 10th, it will be slim pickings for tickets, unless you want to spend over $100 a ticket. I would advise getting on Stubhub like some of us did, and find a good deal. I paid $66.99 per ticket in section 228 Row K, and through ticketmaster with their fees, I would have paid $52.50 for the same seat. So I paid an extra $14 and change per ticket, which to me is not bad. Still cheaper then 90% of the tickets at Consol.

However, the season ticket holder price printed on the tickets is $17.76 each. LOL. The guy that sold them made out big time on the per ticket price, but I feel I got a pretty good deal too. If anyone sees seats for $70 or under on stubhub, I would not wait if you really want to go to a game.
