Hey now... if you watch every pre-game, every game, every post game, and listen to every radio broadcast... by the end of the season you will be able to "afford" a generic t-shirt... after jumping through 4 hoops and hopping on one foot that is. But hey, it's "free" right... yippie!

It is really a good product and the Shoplift N Save near me has them for 10 for 10 all the time.

Please let me know of any way..

Of course my post was the last of the previous page, and i'm afraid no one saw it. Just wanted to ask one last time before my season long dream of doing way too much work for a $20 t-shirt comes to an end.

Unless you give someone in Pittsburgh your login info and they go down with the app while u are logged in, I don't think its possible. I know it says on there that the only way to get your item is at Consol or South Side.

I e-mailed the Pens Points people last week about adding more items to the Pens Points store. They told me to contact Penguins customer support to see if they could do anything about it. She said they are usually pretty receptive to helping out. Customer Support told me that they might be adding some other items to the Pens Points store. What I saw added was the "fashion t-shirts" and the yearbooks. I have 3355 points. I think those shirts are geared to fit men. What's a "fashion t-shirt" anyway? I already have the yearbook--want one? So I contacted them again and they said that they are probably done adding things. I should have gone for that Crosby bobble head when it was available! I'm about 50 miles away from Pittsburgh and do hate to have to travel that distance to pick up something that I really don't even want. I may just do the raffle thing for my points and forget about doing this next year. It ended up being a waste of time.

Good Luck and Thank You for playing.

Kovy, the gold bars concept is tied up at corporate. There has been shouting about return on investment, blah, blah, blah, should the idea prevail, you will not be forgotten.

Do you know anyone in the Pittsburgh area? If so, redeem the shirt. Take a screen shot of the code and send it to your friend. Have them pick up the shirt and mail it to you.

In the meantime, I will award 5 second chance prizes from my stash.

Just reply in this thread your favorite DPSG brand / flavor and why. I will pick 5 winners. I have some pretty cool and pretty meh prizes I will send out.

I loaded up on A&W root beer with all of my pop coupons. It'll be a summer full of root beer floats while I'm roasting in Arizona.

I like the Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper because it is the only soda that I drink now. If one of the prizes is a lifetime supply of Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper...sign me up. If not, I'll take some gold bars that you promised me.  :fist:

I'll play.

I like Dr. Pepper. Was my favorite drink as a kid. Always has that bite to it. One of the first things I grab on a cheat day.

They added Pens year books for 1000 points and pens fashion tees in med large and Xl for 1800 points. The jersey raffles end June 1st. Don't feel like going to pick up a shirt during off season so I may put 20 tickets on all 3 jerseys to drain most of my points
Funny side note. The USA jersey is signed by granato. By lama. Orpik. And Martin. They took shero off the list lol

Having to watch EVERY pre-game, and EVERY post-game, and doing the points for both... gets you a whole 810 points. Only 2/3's of what you need for the crappy t-shirt, not even a player number shirt... 810 points is only 45% of what you need for that shirt. EVERY pre-games and EVERY post game! You can't even get a pin and a print for 810...

The $25 gift cards are 1800 points. It would take you two and a quarter seasons worth of pre and post games to "earn" a $25 gift card... TWO AND A QUARTER SEASONS WORTH!

2 minor corrections, and this might make your stats better or slightly worse.

Not all games have a pre and post game code. Once the game goes on NBC, it's only the radio code. Since there also is a radio code, you could potentially get 15 pts pet game vs 10.

I usually "cheated" and checked twitter or even the LGP thread. Even the post game codes were somewhat of a guessing game if you knew the common words that they repeated.

Well thats where getting 10 points for buying a drink comes in handy, or the pre/post game codes which most people could get easily on their smartphone before and after the game. Factor in you get Pens predictor right say 10 times out of 82 games, and thats another 250 points. It slowly starts to add up, but I get what you are saying. Would be nice to have some other more easily attainable stuff.

I understand... it just seems like it could be... friendlier to the average joe.

Every game (50) plus the STH bonus (300) is 2400. Not enough to get the hoodie, going to every game. You can get a $25 gift card and a pin...

Pens points is geared more towards people who go to lots of games as far as getting rewards, and I get that. If you are a season ticket holder and you scan every ticket you would be at what 2000 points or so?, factor in if you buy a drink while at the game, another 10 points(420 points over the course of a season). Factor in pre/post game codes and if you get pens predictor right every once in a while you could rack up points.

I always looked at is a mindless diversion. I got a shirt last year, and a tshirt this year. I knew I would never get much higher without going to a ton of games.

Its meant as a reward to the people who spend the most $$$$ on the team, not to people who only type in pre/post game codes... I don't think people quite understand that.
