The pace of things is considerably faster than the last Columbus game.

It is rather hard to believe it has happened so often. Not sure how many times, but definitely too often.

It's def a fleury staple

I agree with all this, but the D has been quite poopoo so far. I don't think you can hang either of these first two on him.

Well, at least this game has already been a lot more interesting than the Chicago game.

I understand that you can pinpoint a play a player made or didn't make that lead to the goal but it's still the goalie's job to stop it.

First goal Fleury needs to stop even if it's a bad turnover. Second goal I think redirected off something and those goals are either skill (if on purpose) or luck (if it just bounces off of someone right). I'll give any goalie a pass on the 2nd.

The second goal was credited to Boone Jenner who was jostling with a defenseman off to the side and had the shot hit him and go in. I'm definitely with you in thinking that's a pass for any goalie - nothing but good luck for the Jackets and/or bad luck for the Pens.

I do find it a bit odd/sad for the kids that Sid's not playing. Is he at the arena? Doing events/pr?

I'm not trying to argue, or be an lol fleury sucks troll, esp in exhibition, but that's always the excuse. The amount of times he gives up the first shot on goal or knocks the puck in himself is unreal- his fault or not. I've never seen it with any other goalie so consistently. It can't always be perfect shots, d men out of position, etc. Even yohe just asked someone to look up the official statistic, staggering

With Bob, it all comes down to positioning. He's never out of position, so he never really has to scramble or overreact. Fleury, on the other hand, is the exact opposite - his positioning is atrocious.

Hopefully he is, but to my knowledge he hadn't even met Fleury in person prior to the start of training camp. Not exactly a lot of time to fix the plethora of technical issues in Fleury's game.

Also, Todd Reirden should never run the PP again. It doesn't even matter what side Malkin is on, you can't score goals if you just pass it around and play with yourselves.
