“One Cup,” Malkin said. “I think it's a good career for me. Just good. It's not great. (The) great thing for me is to win Cup (No.) 2.”
“Maybe I tried to score a little too hard; I don't know,” Malkin said. “It's tough.”
Malkin has thought about all of this, and he thought about it all summer — along with another number.
“Five years (would be) too long,” Malkin said of the Penguins' possible Cup drought were they not to win this season.
“Last year if we score more we win. I did not score. This year I just (need to) do my job.”
Admiting a failure is the first step towards finding the solution. Series haunts me too.

That final scoring chance ought to stay with him for a long time.

I really hope Blysma or Martin tells him it's his job to kill penalties too.
He's too focused on scoring goals solomenti.

Talk as they say is cheap. Its time for Geno and Sid to play up to their skill level when the going gets tough in the playoffs.

I some what at times I have tagged Euros as not understanding the tradition and having a true love of the cup its more than just a "championship". But its nice to hear Evgeni talk of it as if his career will not be fulfilled without another one. The drive and determination of a player like that is impressive.

sending a game into OT which, at best, would put you in a 3-1 hole...i think he'll sleep at night.
nice words from geno, but he stepped up his game in that series. can't say the same for most of his teammates.
