I'm starting to think the Kobasew experiment on his line is over, but we don't have many options right now.

However, Sid made it work with Armstrong and Hilbert night after night.. Geno should still be able to be effective. Need to stop making excuses for him.

So... unlike other superstars, you are saying that Malkin is not capable of making linemates "better"...

I don't know how you send this kid back before Vokoun is rady to come off LTIR. Burn a year of his entry level, don't care.

Maatta played himself into the NHL. No way you can send him back.

Yes, let's send one of our top 4 defensemen down to junior so we can save $3 million dollars four years from now. Who cares about this season.

Man, Brooks is really getting exposed today. He really struggles against teams that can take advantage of his positional deficiencies.

Almost looked like Sid found a weakness to remove his stick like the Deathstar.

Nothing worse than when you hit the part of the goalie stick above the blocker. Those always would piss me off so much when I played cause you feel like you had the goalie beat and they got lucky.

I can understand the Fleury apologists because he does do good (great) things from time to time. I do NOT understand the Orpik apologists though. Good plays by Orpik are as rare as chicken's teeth.

I'm not going to look into matchups and ice time but he is the worst defenseman on the ice by far just looki at all 6 guys. Would someone else be better in his exact situation? Perhaps, I'd like to find out to see if letting him walk next year is wise.

Yup, no goalie tries to save it with his stick shaft. Just unlucky on the shooter's part.
