In the last 10 minutes:

1. Vols upsets South Carolina on a field goal with no time left. (my son goes to UT so I'm now a semi-fan)
2. Pens win in shootout
3. Vandy upsets Georgia on a late touchdown

7-1 Penguins and 6-0 Miami Hurricanes. So far a great year for this guy. 8-)

And now we're all sitting around with bated breath anxiously awaiting the kick off of the Pitt/Old Dominion game.

He's now 17 for 43 in shootouts for his career, 41%

After starting his career at 7/29, he's been 10/14 over the past 2 years.

Geno has been money on the SO the last couple seasons. Come a long way from not wanting to take the shootout at all.

I must've nodded off when Staggy said it prior to the shot.

Didn't he win it last time against the Canucks too?

Great job on the dot by him today, great skating too. I know once Neal comes back that we'll see the old Geno back again.

Shelly Anderson ‏@pgshelly 20m
Outside #Penguins locker room Olli Maatta got a handshake from Mario Lemieux for his first goal. Maatta had huge smile.

Everybody hopes to earn a handshake from Mario :!: ;)

I was going to look up a break point. I would have guessed he had a mediocre career percentage, but a much better one since 2010 or so.

Doesn't Mario have an extra room (or twenty) since Sid moved out?

And failing that, I believe Lt. Dish would be willing to take him in. She has a big heart and a definite soft spot for our youngsters.

Have to say, I love how resilient the team was today. The first goal could have spelled trouble, but Fleury rebounded and the Pens answered quickly... and of course Maatta scoring right after the Canucks had retaken the lead was awesome.

Fun game overall.

Happy anniversary ~10/18/06 was Evgeni's debut to the NHL. I will never take him, nor Sidney for granted.
