Nice to see. Also nice to see that he's been more productive in WBS this year than last. Seems to have the tools to be an every day NHL player, just needs to put it together.

Ostensibly. We'll see how it goes, I suppose. The bottom two lines have been a rotating junk heap anyway.

When we first signed him I said that I see a little upside there, better than some of the other UDFA signings we've made, let's hope this pays off...

I'd hoped to see Megna show his stuff in preseason, but didn't see much at all from him. He and Brian Gibbons are tearing it up in WBS. Hopefully he takes the most of the opportunity, even if it is adrenaline feuled.

What's the story on Gibbons? He's 25, but went to BC, so that's not terribly late in his development. Does he have any upside potential in the NHL? He's flown under my radar.

I don't know anything about him, but I guess size is a concern. 5'8" iirc.

After last season's intra-squad scrimmage, had hoped to see Megna get a shot last year. Think he had #12 then. Kobasew has that now, so any idea what number he'll get?

According to the roster on the website, Megna will be wearing 59.

How did Jeffrey end up so deep in the doghouse? I thought he's been fine... unless he is injured and i'm unaware.

I think it's because he's always been a AAAA guy. He can fill in almost anywhere in a pinch, but can't really sustain it long-term. Too good for the AHL, but doesn't really have a specialized skill set to bring to an NHL roster. He's "good" at a lot of things, but not great at any of them.

Doesn't really have the skill set of a top 6 guy (but can fill in due to injury), and doesn't exactly play a grinding bottom 6 role (but can fill in if needed).

Not sure if that makes any sense, but that's how I perceive Jeffrey and his play
