The Penguins offense has really become anemic since the Colorado game.

I'm getting very tired of hearing the excuse, "The Penguins are running int a hot goaltender." They should be lighting this guy up.

Hey, they already scored on him. What more do you want?

Penguin terminology: "Running into a hot goaltender."

Translation: "We don't want to make any plays around the net or drive to the net, just set up 50 foot one timers from fairly bad shooting angles, and take them with nobody in front of the net so the goaltender can see the puck coming a mile away."

Doesn't Jason Peters always look like an All-Star when he plays against the Pens?

Except for the 8-3 loss to the Pens last season.

How many good passes do Kunitz and Dupuis throw in a game? Two? Three?

He scored 50 in 75 games two seasons ago.

What happened??

People are slowly realizing that he's NOT smart.

He takes bad penalties, he loses his cool and does stupid things, he's lazy and pouts at times, he makes horrible passes and decisions.

His talents can outshine these shortcomings, but because he's weak in the head he has trouble being consistent. People will continue to make excuses for him and point out when he scores a goal or sets up a goal, "oh ya look how dumb he is!", then he disappears again for great lengths.

I don't want to hear about his linemates or his injuries. Sid put up great numbers with Hilbert and Armstrong. Sid has come back from multiple injuries and while maybe not looking completely like himself at times, he was still effective and put up numbers.

In regards to malkins production, I don't think it's a coincidence that he's had the most success paired with a grinder (Malone and Kunitz) and a trigger man (Sykora and Neal).I'm not all that optimistic that adding Bennett or Jokinen will do a lot of good really so maybe the conversation should become about finding a guy that can do the dirty work.

Best player on the 2nd line. Too bad he has no linemates tonight.

This entire team is far too casual with passing the puck. From Sid on down they frequently seem to just throw it around.

Yes he is. Of course with the way the rest of the team is playing, it isn't too hard to shine.

Really? I've noticed Staal a heck of a lot more than just about our whole team tonight.

Megna crashing the net hard for a rebound. I'm liking this kids game.

How long before Bylsma demotes him to the 4th line?
