How on earth does glass, adams, and the 3rd D pairing end up out there against their top line in Pittsburgh?

Why didn't Bortuzzo move the puck and how was that not boarding?

Bylsma put his fourth line and weakest defense pairing against their top line when we had a faceoff in our end. Sounds pretty stupid right? Well of course it is and most coaches wouldn't do that. But when you have a coach that openly admits he doesn't put much focus on match ups, this will happen.

...hence why I can't wait for Martin to become headcoach. Someone that "coaches".

The flyers are in really shape considering everyone thinks they suck. They are only 4 games under (3 if they win tonight) and have a simple schedule the rest of November.

They should be over .500 by December 1st in my opinion. And in this terrible division that'll put them in 2nd or 3rd I'd guess.

I'm so sick of looking at Clay Matthews that I'm begging for a Peyton Manning commercial just to break the monotony.

I've seen less distinct kicking motions on fourth down at Heinz Field.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. HCDB doesn't match lines, he likes to match situations. In a a vacuum that might be ok, but when it becomes common knowledge it will make opposing coaches very oppurtunistic.

Ranger game we played pretty good hockey for 15 minutes and so far this game it has been about 13 minutes. Hopefully they decide to put some effort in the second and third tonight. If not, the results will be the same.

Pens making Emery look like a star tonight. They've had 15 shots and only 3 or 4 scoring chances - one of which was kicked in and another being a post.

Bylsma logic. Can't play a young guy ahead of a guy that's been around. Heck, his hand was forced with Maatta, so he moved Engo to forward.

pretty easy to look good against unscreened easy shots from the perimeter. The book is out on how to beat them.
