Given the assets and bench help that he has at his disposal, it would be my guess that just about anyone could coach this team to a better than .600 mark. (I know they're well above that, just saying). Reiterating here, but when they lose, it’s usually ugly! Can’t put it all on DB but I have to stay on topic of the thread. Wouldn’t hurt for Danny to grow a pair and insert a degree of discipline (no matter how small) into the room. I can hear some of you now, “How do you know that he doesn’t discipline his troops? Are you in the room?” You know I ain’t. But methinks (as does a lot of others) it’s obvious that the inmates are running the asylum.

I voted no. Neal could player-coach this team into the playoffs. Unless there were playoff games sprinkled in since game 4 against the Bruins, my approval had no chance to improve.

I voted no. I can't comprehend how the regular season success of the most talented team in the league can change somebody's view of a coach. Nothing has happened between June 2013 and right now to make somebody's vote change from Yes to No or No to Yes

Pens could go undefeated the rest of the regular season. I'd still vote no.

I'll add that they could win the first two rounds of the playoffs as well, and my vote still wouldn't change.
It's all about playing in the 'Cup finals.
With the talent on this roster, you need to be in the cup at least once every three years.
I don't want to be the Washington Capitals of this era. (A team that regularly wins it's division but not it's conference)
No excuses. Back to Back appearances bought him some leeway, but that currency has been spent as far as I'm concerned.
